Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup caramel sauce
1 cup boiling water
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter becomes smooth and fully mixed.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pecans evenly over the batter.
Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly across the top.
Carefully pour the boiling water over the entire mixture. Do not stir, as the water will help create a rich sauce during baking.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
Remove the cobbler from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
