Strawberries & Cream Dream Layer Cheesecake 🍓✨
A rich, creamy cheesecake layered with sweet strawberry goodness and fluffy whipped cream—pure dessert heaven!
Ingredients:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
2 tbsp sugar
3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup strawberry jam or preserves
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Extra strawberries for topping
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream.
4. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust. Add a layer of sliced strawberries and a drizzle of strawberry jam.
5. Pour remaining batter on top and smooth evenly.
6. Bake for 50–55 minutes until center is set but slightly jiggly. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
7. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
8. Spread or pipe whipped cream over the cheesecake and top with fresh strawberries and extra jam drizzle.
Pro Tip:
For extra flavor, lightly macerate the strawberries with a bit of sugar before layering—they’ll release a delicious syrup that soaks into the cake!
