Banana Split Trifle

A luscious layered dessert loaded with bananas, cream, chocolate, and cherries—just like a classic banana split in trifle form!
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, sliced
2 cups whipped cream
1 box vanilla pudding (prepared)
1 cup chocolate syrup
1 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (peanuts or walnuts)
1 package pound cake or brownies, cubed
Maraschino cherries
1/2 cup strawberry sauce (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a large glass bowl or trifle dish, start with a layer of cake or brownie cubes at the bottom.
2. Add a layer of banana slices on top of the cake.
3. Spoon a layer of vanilla pudding over the bananas.
4. Add a layer of crushed pineapple and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
5. Spread a generous layer of whipped cream over everything.
6. Repeat the layers until the dish is filled, finishing with whipped cream on top.
7. Garnish with extra banana slices, chopped nuts, chocolate drizzle, and maraschino cherries.
8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving for best flavor.
Pro Tip:
Brush banana slices lightly with lemon juice to keep them from browning and keep your trifle looking fresh
