Total time: 4 hours 25 minutes (including chilling)
Yield: 9 servings
Ingredients:
36 Oreo cookies (crushed)
6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (divided)
2 boxes (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
Extra Oreo cookies (for topping)
Chocolate syrup (optional)
Instructions:
1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish to form the crust. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and 2 tablespoons milk, mixing until creamy. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread this layer over the chilled crust.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 3 cups cold milk until thick. Spread evenly over the cream cheese layer.
4. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
5. Crush or place whole Oreos on top and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) until fully set. Slice and serve chilled.
Pro Tip:
For cleaner layers, freeze the dessert for 30–45 minutes before slicing—this helps you get those perfect bakery-style cuts!
