1 cup all-purpose flour
● 1 tbsp sugar
● 1 tsp baking powder
● Pinch of salt
● 1 egg
● ¾ cup milk
● ½ tsp vanilla extract
● Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

1: Mix Dry: Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
2: Mix Wet: In another bowl, beat the egg, then stir in milk and vanilla.
3: Make Batter: Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth and pancake-like.
4: Heat Oil: Warm 1½–2 inches of oil to 350°F (175°C).
5: Fry: Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry 1–2 minutes per side until golden.
6: Drain & Dust: Remove with a slotted spoon, drain on paper towels, and dust generously with powdered sugar.
7: Serve: Enjoy immediately while warm and crispy.
