Swan Love Cake Recipe

Vanilla Cake Ingredients (per tier)
4 large eggs (room temperature)
1 cup granulated sugar
¾ cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
2½ cups all-purpose flour
2½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Multiply the ingredients according to the number of tiers.
🍰 Cake Method
Preheat oven to 170°C / 340°F.
Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until pale, fluffy, and light.
Gradually add oil, then milk, mixing gently.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until smooth.
Pour batter into prepared cake pans and bake 35–45 minutes.
Let cakes cool completely, then level the tops for stacking.

500 g unsalted butter (softened)
5 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract

Method:
Beat butter until creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar.
Add vanilla extract and milk until smooth and spreadable.
Tint a small portion of buttercream with blush pink or pearl dust if desired for decorative accents.

Step 1: Covering the Cake
Cover each tier with fondant or smooth buttercream in pearl white or soft blush pink.
Use a bench scraper for perfectly smooth edges.
Step 2: Middle Tier Texture
Add subtle wave patterns or sugar feather textures to resemble water or soft swan feathers.
Optional: dust with pearl dust for shimmer.
Step 3: Top Tier Swan Decoration
Shape a pair of swans from fondant or modeling chocolate.
Curve their necks toward each other to create a heart-like silhouette.
Add small sugar pearls or glitter to enhance elegance.
Step 4: Side & 360° Decoration
Add cascading sugar flowers (Rose, Peony, Cherry Blossom) down the side of the cake.
Add small fondant feathers or pearl beads around the tiers for a cohesive look.
Step 5: Finishing Touches
Lightly spray with edible shimmer spray to give feathers and flowers a soft glow.
