Ingredients
• 200g all-purpose flour
• 150g granulated sugar
• 120g butter (softened)
• 2 large eggs
• 120ml milk
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease or line a loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into the pan and level the top.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan briefly, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
