Set aside an ungreased baking sheet (no parchment or foil needed).<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Remove crusts and flatten bread<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Using a serrated knife, cut off all four crusts from each slice of bread. Discard the crusts or save for breadcrumbs. Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice until it is about \u215b inch thick and slightly widened.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Make the cream cheese filling<br class=\"html-br\" \/>In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Stir with a fork or spatula until completely smooth and lump-free.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Prepare the cinnamon sugar coating<br class=\"html-br\" \/>In a separate shallow bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside. Serve warm for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
