Take care not to overmix (that\u2019s one of the most common cake baking mistakes).<\/p>\n<p>Add the milk and coffee and mix until a thin, smooth batter forms.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 5: Bake<\/h4>\n<p>Transfer the batter to your prepared baking pan and bake until the cake reaches an internal temperature of 210\u00b0. You can use an instant-read digital thermometer, like a\u00a0Thermapen. You can also\u00a0test the cake\u2019s doneness\u00a0by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake.
