Ingredients:
**Crust Layer:**
* 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies or chocolate graham crackers
* 1/4 cup melted butter
**Cheesecake Layer:**
* 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
* 3/4 cup granulated sugar
* 2 teaspoons orange zest
* 1 tablespoon orange juice
* 3 large eggs
* 1/4 cup sour cream
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
**Chocolate Ganache Layer:**
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
**Orange Jelly Layer (Optional but stunning):**
* 1 cup orange juice
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
**Toppings:**
* Orange slices
* Chocolate whipped cream or a swirl of frosting
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line the bottom of a springform pan with parchment paper.
2. Mix crushed cookies and melted butter, press firmly into pan base. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool.
3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add orange zest, juice, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix in eggs one at a time.
4. Pour cheesecake mixture over cooled crust. Bake for 45 minutes or until center is set but slightly jiggly. Let cool, then chill for 4 hours or overnight.
5. For the orange jelly: Warm orange juice and sugar in a saucepan. Stir in gelatin until fully dissolved. Cool slightly, then gently pour over chilled cheesecake. Let set in fridge.
6. Heat cream and pour over chocolate chips to make ganache. Stir until smooth and glossy. Pour on top and spread evenly.
