Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix
Ingredients listed on cake mix (eggs, oil, water)
1 cup caramel sauce
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Prepare the chocolate cake batter according to the box instructions and pour half into the baking dish.
3. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven.
4. In a bowl, mix caramel sauce, sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, chocolate chips, and pecans.
5. Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the partially baked cake.
6. Spread the remaining cake batter over the top.
7. Return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes or until set.
8. Let cool slightly before serving so the caramel layer thickens.
