Chocolate Ganache Loaf Cake

Rich, moist, and topped with silky ganache—this chocolate loaf is pure indulgence in every bite!

🧾 Ingredients
For the Chocolate Loaf:

2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
¼ cup (60 ml) vegetable oil
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
¼ cup (50 g) brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup (180 ml) milk or buttermilk
½ cup (120 ml) hot water or hot coffee
For the Chocolate Ganache:

1 cup (180 g) dark chocolate (chopped or chips)
½ cup (120 ml) whipping cream
Optional Topping:

Chocolate chunks or chocolate chips
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease or line a loaf pan.
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter, oil, and both sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients with milk in batches. Mix gently.
Stir in hot water or coffee until smooth (batter will be slightly runny).
Bake until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.
