Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, finely minced or crushed
* 1/4 cup pineapple juice
* 2 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
* 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
* 1 tbsp brown sugar
* 1 small jalapeño or serrano pepper, finely diced (remove seeds for less heat)
* 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine pineapple, pineapple juice, vinegar, honey, brown sugar, jalapeño, pepper flakes, and salt.
2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
3. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until everything is well combined and the flavors are blended.
4. If you prefer a thicker drizzle, stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1–2 more minutes until glossy and slightly thickened.
5. Let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
