Strawberry Honeybun Cake

Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup strawberry jam or strawberry preserves
For the Cinnamon-Sugar Swirl:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons strawberry jam (optional, for flavor)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Make Cake Batter: In a large bowl, mix cake mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Prepare Swirl: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
Layer Cake: Pour half the batter into the baking dish. Spread strawberry jam evenly over it. Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Add Remaining Batter: Pour the rest of the batter on top and gently spread.
Top Layer: Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top.
Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Make Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and strawberry jam until smooth.
Finish Cake: Drizzle glaze over the warm cake.
Serve: Slice and enjoy this soft, sweet, bakery-style treat!
