Smoky grilled chicken tossed with creamy, zesty cowboy butter over perfectly cooked linguine—comfort food with a wild twist!
Ingredients:
* 8 oz linguine pasta
* 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* Salt & pepper, to taste
**Cowboy Butter Sauce:**
* 1/2 cup unsalted butter
* 4 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
* 1 tbsp lemon juice
* 1 tsp smoked paprika
* 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
* 1 tbsp chopped parsley
* 1/2 tsp onion powder
* 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional for extra richness)
Instructions:
1. Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
3. In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
4. Stir in mustard, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, onion powder, and parsley. Let it bubble slightly.
5. (Optional) Add heavy cream for a richer sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
6. Toss in cooked linguine and mix until well coated.
7. Add grilled chicken back on top. Garnish with extra parsley and lemon slices.
