Red Velvet Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients:
*For the Crust:*
* 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup melted butter
*For the Red Velvet Layer:*
* 1 box red velvet cake mix (prepared as directed, using only half the batter)
*For the Cheesecake Layer:*
* 3 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
* 1 cup granulated sugar
* 3 large eggs
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 cup sour cream
*For the Topping:*
* 1 cup strawberry glaze or sauce
* Fresh whole strawberries
* Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a springform pan with parchment and lightly grease the sides.
2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter, and press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes and set aside.
3. Pour half the prepared red velvet cake batter over the crust and bake for 15 minutes until slightly set.
4. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream.
5. Gently pour cheesecake filling over the baked red velvet layer. Smooth the top.
6. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until center is just set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
7. Before serving, top with strawberry glaze, whole strawberries, and dollops of whipped cream.
